Elizabeth Reyes

Associate Professor in the Biology Department of the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. Dr. Elizabeth Reyes’ research focuses on the study of Glycobiology and in particular aims to develop new biochemical routes for the synthesis of glycans and how these can regulate the immune response.
Dr. Reyes completed her PhD in the Laboratory of Prof. Sabine Flitsch at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology (MIB) in The University of Manchester, UK. Once graduated, she remained in the same group as a Postdoctoral Research Associate to pursue her studies related to the synthesis and analysis of glycans.
